ANAR PATEL

My name is Anar and I created Crafted by Anar to share my passion for arts and crafts with the world.

I was introduced to arts and crafts at a very young age. I remember drawing the cover of "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Suess in my sketchbook along with many nature scenes and caricatures of my family. I was also known to design and hand-sew clothes for my many dolls and stuffed animals.

At the young age of six, my grandmother introduced me to cross-stitching and I stitched three little dolls holding hands. Counted cross-stitch takes patience and organizing thoughts and I realized I loved creating something beautiful onto fabric that was once empty. Analyzing the number of stitches it would take and counting out the placement of the design on the fabric, I was hooked! I graduated from purchasing counted-cross stitch kits to designing my own patterns.

As my curiosity peaked, I began dabbling in beaded jewelry and more complex projects. Recently, I have began working with wood and resin enjoying the complexities of colors and textures in the custom pieces I create for my clients.

My items are handcrafted with the utmost care and love to bring alive your vision.
